Fusion Map F Generated in MATLAB! (Partner completed this but it is huge so I have to put it)
High Pass Filter G created in MATLAB
Configured H7 project to read bmp images (this took embarrassingly long) but still having trouble with it reading non-square images
Down-sampled our images from ~(500x700) to ~(150x200) so that the H7 does not run out of memory and takes less time to process
We are ready to try fusing the images and will begin transitioning this project to the H7 (Will be a challenge in terms of memory and processing power)
Extra Notes:
Since this project relies on high detail images in order to visibly see a difference in quality after fusing the images, we decided that our focus on the H7 should not be to objectively compare image quality before and after but to simply prove that this algorithm can be run in embedded applications. Since the H7 is a multipurpose board, it is not suited to high resolution image processing. Unless the H7 proves to be fast enough and able to hold enough memory, we will probably rely on MATLAB to produce detailed results.
